Gorgeous day in CT even though there are mentally ill gunmen roaming the streets. Cool lil show last night even though there was no sound guy and the place kinda smelled like a barn mixed with wet dog mixed with a hamster cage. It wasn’t really really that bad though, I just like painting mental images. Tony’s familia came out to support and that was awesome. The lady who owned the bar randomly made us test the wattage of our flood lights because she was worried about her electric bill. Home town feel. Headed to NJ in a bit to seek out mentally ill gunmen. – Matt S.
As we have said at the show, I also wanted to put in writing for all of you. Thank you all for supporting us at our CD release show at the precinct this past Saturday. It was an awesome time. A first for a lot of things. Like the first album under the name Stereogrove, and the first mosh pit to break out at a show. Thank you guys for kicking it up a notch. That shit was awesome.
We also had this lovely painting completed by our good friend Pete Bartash. If you didn’t see it at the show, here it is now.
We have awesome shirts now, stickers, buttons and a kick ass album and now we are hitting the road for the next few weekends and promoting the hell out of this thing. Thanks to your help with getting this off the ground we are planning on taking it to the next level. To all of you who got CDs remember to give that download card to someone who you think will like the album.
Thanks to all the bands who played with us.
Buy Star Bombs, played an awesome set, and rivaled us in shear volume
One Good Vibe rocked it with some awesome tunes, and a great sax player who rocked on stage with us as well.
and Sister Domatilla like before, did not dissapoint, with some funky sweet grooves and great rhymes.
And last but never least here are some of the crazy images that Geoff Croteau was rocking on the splatter box, as our splatter engineer.
There are less than two weeks before the release of our new CD, “Live At The Bridge”, and our CD Release show at The Precinct. With such little time left we wanted to update you with some important information, as well as give you more Stereogrove goodness. Let’s not waste any time.
That’s the jam right there – everything you need to know about the show is on that page. It also serves as a way for you to get stuff. What kind of stuff you ask? Tickets, the new album, T-shirts, streaming audio from the other kick ass bands that are playing, and links to stream the new album. If you haven’t gone here yet – GO NOW and spend some time poking around.

THANK YOU NOTE
—————————–
We would just like to take a minute to thank each and every one of you. You guys make it possible to do what we do. Some of you have been with us from the very beginning and have seen us grow from a small stem into a full fledged Stereogrove. Others have just joined the movement, and we welcome you and hope that you enjoy the ride. We realize that the efforts of our successes rest not only on our shoulders but on yours as well. We hope that you enjoy the new album that YOU helped create. If you like it and just do one of these things — send a link to your friend, foward on this email, share the event on Facebook, post a message on Twitter, or drag a friend out to a show — those little seeds will grow and all of us will reap the benefits.
NEW VIDEO
——————–
Now something for your viewing enjoyment. Here is another video taken during the live recording of the album. The song is called “Todos Los Dias”…
It’s official (well it will be in a few hours) – Stereogrove has brand spankin’ new t-shirts. Check out the pics below I snapped while approving the ink colors and design placement. It’s pretty sweet to see the design on a screen. Speaking of design, a big thank you to Devon Guillery over at Staetru for such a sick design and Steve and Joe over at Flyers Unlimited in Woburn. These shirts are available for sale along with the new album here or they can be purchased at a show near you!
Damn those look fresh!
Shot of the shop - getting ready to do a test run!
This is what we did at practice today. We used a special stencil and ink pressed the CD packaging ourselves. Well, mostly Matt & Tony did while Matt S packaged buttons because he is braindead today. Looks sick!
