Treading Back Home

Another successfull shindig. Me and matt are currently on our way back. We rocked out at the clam jam with an impromptu set. Lots of jamming clams and booze. Aj made a tasty late night snack of frozen meatballs and chicken fingers, cooked in a pot with tequlia and butter. If that sounds gross, that’s because it is. The man has an iron stomach.

Here’s a look at our back seat filled with gear and birdshit. Thank you jersey for the good time.

In Connecticut heading to NJ soon

Gorgeous day in CT even though there are mentally ill gunmen roaming the streets. Cool lil show last night even though there was no sound guy and the place kinda smelled like a barn mixed with wet dog mixed with a hamster cage. It wasn’t really really that bad though, I just like painting mental images. Tony’s familia came out to support and that was awesome. The lady who owned the bar randomly made us test the wattage of our flood lights because she was worried about her electric bill. Home town feel. Headed to NJ in a bit to seek out mentally ill gunmen. – Matt S.

Getting ready for the benefit show.

Check out the sweet stage that we have for the show. Currently getting sound checked. Not sure why its oriental themed. But its pretty cool.

Coming Up – Toad Show 1-2-2010, and a New Free Song

December 11, 2009 - 1:37 pm No Comments

So the holidays are upon us and everyone is going crazy trying to find the right gift for someone. Well, after you’re exhausted spending all that time with your crazy uncle or your cousin with the drooling problem, get loose and unwind this New Year’s Eve weekend at Toad in Cambridge on that Saturday  (Jan. 2nd)  with the band, and with a crazy after-party entitled “Take it to the Limit”.  You can check it out on Facebook as well.

Also, to spice it up a bit, here is another new sex toy for your ear canal. Part of an ongoing collection of music called Keep Your Ear to the Door.  It’s a tasty romp of a slide guitar jam called “Livin in Hell” and we just may play it at Toad. Let us know what you think.

Nothing Like Porter Belly's

August 4, 2009 - 3:24 pm No Comments

Yeah so we had an awesome time at the Porter Belly’s show. I have heard nothing but great praise about it, and I thank you all for coming up and out. It was a lot of god damn fun.  It was amazing to see everyone dancing and rocking out.  Unfortuantly we did hear some sad news that it will be Marisabel Portillo’s last Stem show, for about a year. She is on her way to Abu dhabi of all places, where I will admit is a huge lack of Stem. You will be missed.

In other news, less sad, Ryan Beckman took these awesome photos

Bitter End

and this awesome one here as well, which may be our new band Photo

Hard Rock Cafe

If you like his work then go check out his website at  www.ryangbeckman.com. Our sound guy Ryan Yorck did a fantastic job as well, adding beautiful amounts of dub style to our rock sound. Must be something with the name Ryan.

The only downside of that night is that we all got good and drunk and played some ear bleeding rock.  Oh wait, that’s not a downside.

Rock it out ya’ll and I look forward to the next show.  Also stay tuned cause we had the show recorded, and if they sound good, you will see them very shortly.
